New to Proper Strong? Here’s the difference between our wax melts, so you can pick the ones that suit you.
Snap bars
Our classic. Each bar snaps into cubes, so you can melt one or two at a time and save the rest for later. They’re poured in parasoy, a blend of paraffin and soy wax that holds plenty of fragrance. Snap bars are great if you like to change scents often, and they’re the ones that go in our pick & mix boxes.
Jelly shot pots
Wobbly jelly wax in a little pot with a lid. Instead of snapping, you scoop out a spoonful and melt it in your burner like any other wax. They look great on a shelf and they’re a fun way to try a new scent. Keep the lid on between uses to keep the fragrance fresh.
Shapes
Hearts, stars and seasonal specials, poured in the same parasoy blend as our snap bars. Pop a whole shape in the dish. They make brilliant little gifts and stocking fillers.

Which one is strongest?
They’re all poured to be strong. How strong a melt smells depends on the scent more than the format, so check each one’s Strength Scale rating before you buy.
